Energy Balance System

Complete dietetic dry food for adult dogs, formulated to support diabetes mellitus, weight reduction and weight maintenance. Made with high-quality chicken and turkey proteins, selected low glycaemic carbohydrate sources and increased fibre, with added L-carnitine to support fat metabolism.

Composition

Chicken protein, corn (20%), turkey protein, barley (10%), dried apples, corn gluten, salmon oil, lignocellulose, hydrolysed chicken liver, brewer's yeast, psyllium husk and seeds (0.5%), sodium chloride, algae (0.5%, Schizochytrium limacinum), glucosamine (1,000 mg/kg), chondroitin sulphate (800 mg/kg), fructo-oligosaccharides (220 mg/kg), β-glucans (200 mg/kg), mannan-oligosaccharides (180 mg/kg), Mojave extract (150 mg/kg), curcuma and decaffeinated green tea extract (sources of flavonoids and polyphenols), Lactobacillus acidophilus HA–122 inactivated (15 × 10⁹ cells/kg).

Carbohydrate sources: Corn and barley.

Feeding Instructions

Complete feed with a low level of mono- and disaccharides. It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use and before extending the period of use. For diabetes mellitus, the recommended period of use is initially up to 6 months. For weight reduction, feed until the target body weight is achieved and continue as required to help maintain the target weight. Feed dry or slightly moistened. Fresh drinking water should always be available. Feed the recommended daily amounts shown in the feeding table. For effective weight loss or weight maintenance, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded.
