Do cats need bathing, and if so how often?

Cats are excellent self groomers but even the most thorough cats can do with a bit of help from time to time. Whether they've been out in the muddy rain or if they have something stuck in their coat, it might be time for a bath. Overbathing would not be advised as this can cause the cat's skin to loose it's natural oils leading to dry and itchy skin. Ask your vet for more specific advice.

How do I reduce hairballs through grooming?

If your cat suffers from an excessive number of hairballs it is best to give them a hand through brushing. Removing the excess amounts of loose fur especially during shedding seasons will mean a lot less of an intake while grooming.

How do I brush my cat's teeth, and how often should I?

Always make sure to use cat-safe products when brushing your cats teeth and be as gentle as possible. Soft handled and finger brushes are best for cleaning their teeth if they are happy for you to do so as well as a non-toxic toothpaste. Your vet will let you know if you should be brushing your cats teeth more after a visit to them.
