Optixcare® L-Lysine Chews for Cats

Optixcare L-Lysine Chews are a high-potency nutritional soft chew for cats and kittens, providing 500 mg of L-Lysine per chew to help relieve symptoms of Feline Herpes Virus (FHV-1) and reduce the frequency and severity of eye infections like conjunctivitis.

  • High Concentration: Contains 500 mg of L-Lysine per single chew, meaning fewer treats are needed compared to alternative brands.
  • Palatability: Chicken-flavoured soft chews designed with high feline acceptance rates.
  • Mechanism: L-Lysine competes with L-arginine, an amino acid the herpes virus needs to replicate.

Directions for use:

Can be fed whole as a treat or crumbled on top of food.

Adult Cats: Give 1 to 2 chews daily (500 to 1000 mg L-Lysine); 1000 mg daily is recommended during active flare-ups.
Kittens (under 6 months): Give ½ to 1 chew daily (250 to 500 mg L-Lysine).
