Calibra Veterinary Diet Dog Hepatic 2kg / 12kg

Liver Support System

Complete dietetic dry food for adult dogs, formulated to support liver function in cases of chronic liver insufficiency and help reduce copper accumulation in the liver. Made with highly digestible salmon proteins and moderate protein levels, with added milk thistle, L-carnitine and taurine to support normal liver function.

Composition

Rice (55%), salmon protein (10%), chicken fat (preserved with tocopherols), dried apples, salmon oil, hydrolysed salmon protein (5%, molecular weight ≤5,000 Da), dried eggs (4%), hydrolysed chicken liver, brewer's yeast, fulvic acid (0.5%), algae (0.3%, Schizochytrium limacinum), milk thistle seeds (2,000 mg/kg), fructo-oligosaccharides (220 mg/kg), β-glucans (200 mg/kg), mannan-oligosaccharides (180 mg/kg), Mojave yucca (150 mg/kg), curcuma and decaffeinated green tea extract (a source of flavonoids and polyphenols), Lactobacillus acidophilus HA–122 inactivated (15 × 10⁹ cells/kg).

Feeding Instructions

Complete feed with a moderate level of selected, highly digestible protein. It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. For support of liver function, the recommended period of use is initially up to 4 months. For the reduction of copper accumulation in the liver, feed initially for up to 6 months. Divide the recommended daily amount into smaller portions throughout the day. Feed dry or slightly moistened. Fresh drinking water should always be available. Feed the recommended daily amounts shown in the feeding table.
