The Ancol Ergo Moulting Comb is a pet grooming tool with dual-length, rounded stainless steel pins designed to effectively remove loose hair from both the top coat and undercoat of dogs and cats. It features an ergonomic handle for comfortable use and is particularly useful during shedding season. 

  • Two lengths of teeth to help remove loose hair from the undercoat and top coat
  • Medical quality stainless steel pins are rounded at the ends to prevent discomfort

We are committed to reducing our packaging and using recycled and recyclable packaging. This now uses cardboard packaging that is widely recycled.

Directions for use:

Gently comb the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The pins of the comb are rounded and polished for comfort, the two lengths of the comb help to penetrate deep into the coat and remove loose hairs. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, do not push the comb into the dog's skin. Gently tease out tangles with the comb. Do not pull or tug on matted fur; this may require cutting. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated.

Grooming tips:

Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercise tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.
