Protexin Veterinary SereniCare Sachets combine prebiotics, postbiotics, peptides and L-tryptophan to manage stress, anxiety and gut health, helping dogs and cats with:

A unique combination of calming ingredients 

Derived from cow’s milk, Alpha-casozepine is a natural bioactive peptide which calms and relaxes. Protexin Veterinary Serenicare Sachets also contain a calming postbiotic blend of heat-treated Lactobacillus rhamnosus CECT8361 and Bifidobacterium longum CECT7347, to help manage stress and anxiety-related behaviour. 

 Biotic blend supports gut health 

Alongside postbiotics, each sachet also contains prebiotic Fibersol to feed beneficial bacteria and promote a healthy microbiome, which is key for normal gut-brain communication. 

 Helps make the ‘happy hormone’  

To support normal mood and behaviour, Protexin Veterinary SereniCare Sachets also contain L-tryptophan, which is used to make the ‘happy hormone’ serotonin. 

 Help your pet be prepared 

Begin two weeks prior to an anxious event,* giving once-daily according to the on-pack guidelines. If needed, the dose can be repeated 90-120 minutes prior to the event.  

*Individual animals can vary. Effects may be seen sooner in some animals, though may take up to 6 weeks in others.

Directions for use:

Begin supplementation with SereniCare 2 weeks prior to expected anxious event.*

Give once daily according to body weight. Can be repeated 90-120 minutes prior to an expected anxious event. SereniCare is suitable for long-term use alongside appropriate behavioural training. The amount may be increased or decreased as directed by your vet.
  • Below 10kg - 1/2 sachet daily
  • 10-25kg - 1 sachet daily
  • 25-30kg - 2 sachets daily
  • Above 50kg - 3 sachets daily
