Muscle mass support This is a specifically balanced formula designed to help support the maintenance of your dog’s muscle mass throughout its senior years. Dental health Thanks to the kibble’s mechanical brushing effect and the inclusion of a calcium binder, ROYAL CANIN® Mature Consult Small Dogs helps to delay the formation and build-up of tartar.
Urinary health This diet promotes a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Important to note As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount, especially when mix-feeding. Mixed feeding possibilities to cater to each dog’s individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Mature Consult is also available as wet food with a soft loaf texture. Mixed feeding gives your dog a variety of textures, helping to stimulate their appetite.

Aimed at improving key functions in ageing dogs: supports ageing cells via neutralisation of free radicals (polyphenals associated with a patented synergistic antioxidant cocktail); preserving kidney function (reduced phosphorus); and supporting brain health (Phosphatidylserine & L-tryptophan).|The mechanical actions of the kibble which help limit plaque are coupled with the inclusion of sodium tripolyphosphate, a calcium binder which limits availability of salivary calcium, delaying dental plaque calcification. An optimal amino acid profile; focused about the inclusion of leucine as a branched chain amino acid stimulating muscle growth and countering age-related sarcopaenia. Specially formulated complex of nutrients targeting the reduction of water loss through the skin to strengthen the barrier effect of the skin.
