Specific CDD Food Allergy Management Dog Food
Specific CDD Food Allergy Management is for food allergy or intolerance, generally resulting in dermatological and gastointestinal disorders, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, gastrointestinal diseases such as diarrhoea, vomiting and flatulence, malabsorption/maldigestion and urate urolithiasis (only dry diet). Benefits: A restricted number of ingredients: Both egg and rice are ingredients, with a low allergenicity, making them perfect ingredients in hypoallergenic diets. Very high quality and highly digestible ingredients make the diet especially useful for patients with small intestinal diarrhoea. Psyllium Husk is a gel-forming soluble fibre, which absorbs several times its weight in liquid, and is known for its beneficial effect on the regulation of the gastrointestinal tract activity. Purine is the precursor for urate crystals. The very low dietary content of purine in CDD in combination with the reduced protein level and the induced alkaline urine pH makes it first choice for prevention and dissolution of urate crystals and stones. Ingredients: Rice, eggs, minerals, pork fat, powdered cellulose, Plantago psyllium husk, vitamins and trace elements, methionine, sunflower oil. Antioxidants: EC approved additives: BHA, BHT. It contains no artificial colours or flavourings. If you are in any doubt, it is recommended you seek the advice of your veterinary surgeon before using this product.
